Case 2 DiscussionEosinophilic granuloma (Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis or LCH) with classic skull lesion with "beveled edges". This is the limited form of LCH and involes the bone frequently, with the skull (25%), ribs & femur (14% each) and pelvis(10%) the most common sites. There is a 2:1 male to female ratio and it is usually monostotic. Bone scans are only positive in about 60% of cases. (10.663)
