Case 43 DiscussionMaffucci's Syndrome: hemagiomatosis and enchondromatosis (Ollier's). The distribution of the hemangiomas is not correlated with the distribution of the enchondromas. The hemangiomas may occur in other organs, including the GI tract. Involvement of the hands and feet is commonly seen and may be quite severe. The incidence of malignant transformation is higher in Maffucci's compared to Ollier's. (43.1543) Resnick. Bone and Joint Imaging. WB Saunders, 1989, p1046.
