Case 59c Discussion

Chondroblastoma in an epiphyseal equivalent(ie. greater trochanter). Notice that the degree of edema is greater than one might expect from the lesion and the linear, vertical black line on the coronal STIR image (as well as sclerosis on the plain film) suggesting stress or insufficiency fracture. There is an apparent fluid level in the lesion as well. (44.3111, 44.415).
