Case 92b Discussion

Medial meniscal "pseudotear": the transverse ligament connecting the anterior horns of the medial and lateral meniscus is well known for creating a "pseudotear" of the lateral side, but less commonly the medial side. Always follow any suspected anterior horn tear to make sure that you are not being fooled.
