Case 76c Discussion

Increased signal intensity along the sublime tubercle of the ulna at the insertion of the ulnar collateral ligament with thickening of the ligament. This probably reflects an acute bone injury (occult avulsion??) superimposed on chronic changes in the ligament in an area under high stress in baseball pitching.
