Case 42 DiscussionALPSA lesion: Anterior labroligamentous perotsteal sleeve avulsion. (see also Case 27). This represents a labral avulsion with intact periosteal sleeve attached to the inferior glenoid. If untreated, the labrum may retract medially and heal in this abnormal location, leading to chronic instability. There is an acute Hill-Sachs deformity from the most recent dislocation.
