Case 50c Discussion

There was no evidence for AVN of the left hip (Image set #1). There were, however, findings of insufficiency fxs of the pubic root & parasymphyseal area left (Image sets #2-3, respectively). There is evidence of erosive arthritis in the right hip with small erosions, femoral head edema and effusion (Image sets# 1-2). The SI joints were difficult to evaluate on the MR and on the plain films, but we suspect early arthritis of inflammatory bowel disease. (44.415, 44.740)
