Case 72b Discussion

Bucket-handle tear lateral meniscus with displacement from posterior to anterior. Note the deficient posterior horn (coronal posterior, both sagittal images) and the large (coronal anterior)or so-called "double meniscus" (sagittal images). The lateral meniscus often displaces in this manner as opposed to the classic bucket-handle injury which displaces into the notch on the medial side.
