Interesting Cases from the Wilderness of Idaho

mtnsid:

Here is a new series of interesting cases from Dr. Steven Merendi who practices in Idaho. In his letter of introduction, Dr. Merendi described his practice:

My name is Steven Merandi, MD.  I am a radiologist that is practicing in the mountains of Idaho. I am originally from Florida where I practiced for 10 yrs. and moved to the mountains with wife and baby 2 yrs ago for the country life. I am a general radiologist, however have been doing high volume MSK for years basically because noone  else in my previous groups would do it.  I, therefore, consider myself self taught.  I do remote MSK consulting from Florida with my own mini pacs setup, for my old group, imaging centers and ortho's and podiatrists.

The first case is a carpenter who fell off a roof sustaining an injury to the wrist. He has signs of median nerve injury as well a pain and deformity at the wrist.
